Dr. Chemmalakuzhy joined CSANT in 2006. He specializes in Interventional Cardiology, Peripheral Vascular Intervention, and Coronary /Peripheral Computed Tomography (CTA). He also has completed advanced training in advanced heart failure. He is a skilled interventionalist trained in advanced catheter based intervention, including rotational atherectomy, ASD and PFO closures.
Dr. Jacob Chemmalakuzhy has authored several publications in the fields of heart failure and interventional cardiology. He completed his general cardiology, heart failure/transplantation and interventional cardiology fellowship at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis before joining CSANT. Dr. Jacob Chemmalakuzhy feels one of the most important aspects of cardiovascular care is to educate the patients so that they can make the right decisions regarding their health.
